By working with Cornerstone Tutoring or using our website, you agree to the terms below.

1. Services Provided
Cornerstone Tutoring provides one-on-one mathematics tutoring for students in Years 5–10. Sessions may be delivered in person or online, as agreed in advance.
Tutoring is educational support only and does not replace classroom instruction, school attendance, or formal assessment provided by schools.
2. Session Structure
Sessions are delivered on a one-on-one basis with a consistent tutor. Lesson length, frequency, and delivery mode are agreed upon prior to commencement.
Lesson content is aligned with school expectations and the NESA syllabus, with a focus on reinforcing understanding and addressing learning gaps.
3. Fees and Payments
Session fees are agreed upon prior to booking. Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Invoices may be issued per session or in blocks. Payments are accepted via bank transfer or other agreed payment methods.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that schedules change. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full, except in exceptional circumstances.
5. Communication
Clear and ongoing communication is a priority. Parents are kept informed about lesson focus, progress, and next steps.
Parents are welcome to contact the tutor at any time with questions or concerns. We aim to respond to all enquiries within a reasonable timeframe.
6. Parents & Students
Parents are responsible for ensuring students attend sessions on time and are prepared.
Students are expected to participate respectfully and make a reasonable effort during sessions.
7. Privacy and Personal Information
We collect only the information necessary to provide tutoring services, including student details, contact information, and relevant academic information.
All personal information is handled in accordance with Australian privacy laws and is kept secure. Information is not shared with third parties without consent, unless required by law.
8. Child Saftey
Cornerstone Tutoring holds a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and is committed to providing a safe, respectful learning environment.
Any concerns regarding student safety or wellbeing will be handled appropriately and in line with legal obligations.
9. Limitation of Liability
While we take care to provide high-quality educational support, we cannot guarantee specific academic results.
Cornerstone Tutoring is not liable for outcomes related to school assessments, exams, or decisions made by educational institutions.
10. Changes to Service
From time to time, services, pricing, or these terms may be updated. Any material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
Continued use of services indicates acceptance of updated terms.
